Sunday Shop Update

Hello friends, 

This week for Sunday Shop Update I figured I'd bring you a lovely bracelet stack that just reminds me of the sunshine....and we could always use a little more sunshine! This stack features 6 individual bracelets that all fall somewhere around the yellow block of the color wheel. This stack is also a one of a kind and is pretty cheap, only $12!! Better snatch it now before someone else does!!

Shop Update

Hello friends, 

If you follow me on any social media, you have heard me barking about my recent shop update for about a week now. I recently listed 8 brand new, one of a kind pieces; that I'm seriously proud of! Sewing has come back into my life in a huge way. I'm finally feeling confident enough in my sewing skills to share them with everyone else. The pieces listed today are some of my all time favorites, and I really hope someone gives them a good home. Most pieces are size medium/large, with best fit being around a size 14/15 US woman's.  Eventually, I'll be making more in a variety of sizes, but this is just the first batch!

Random Post: Happinessbrand Clothing Preview

Hello friends!!! 

I am so excited and proud to announce that I am finally making clothes for my Etsy Shop! I've been sewing since I was about 16. It all started with one simple Home Ec class in high school, and a set of 3 simple patchwork pillows....I've been hooked ever since! Back in 2006, when I was looking at colleges, I originally was looking for fashion design programs, but ended up being talked into going in to illustration. It seemed like the more logical and beneficial move for my future, but fashion was always in the back of my mind. I remember being in college and spending many nights out in our front room sewing into the wee hours of the morning. 

Throughout the years, I've realized that sewing is a huge part of my life, and one of my greatest passions. Now, I want to share that with you! I've been working on several one of a kind pieces that will be listed in my shop for sale. In this photo set, I've decided to showcase 2 dusters, a patchwork shirt, and a pair of disco shorts. The dusters are my favorite pieces so far. They feel so magical when you put them on, and the twirl on these pieces are supreme. 

These piece will be listed within the next few days, and I'll be sure to let you know when everything is up and ready for purchase. Until then, you can check out all the goodies that are up for grabs now!!

Hello friends, 

With the summer in full swing now, and some really big markets coming up for Happinessbrand; I've been scouring the internet for display inspiration. I'm quite the lucky girl to have an amazingly talented father who is crazy skilled at woodworking. So a lot of the more complex and beautiful wooden displays that I've been drooling over are very much attainable with his help. I've always been a fan of great wood work (because of him) in craft booth displays. My dad is usually my market buddy, so he's always scoping out good display ideas and dreaming up new projects. 

This year, I want my booth to be super natural feeling, and heavily forest/ nature inspired. Wood brings such a warmth to a display, and that's really what I'm going for. Just a small place in the market or festival for folks to stop and feel welcome. A little spot to feel at home and get inspired to be magical. I live in a fairy tale world and I just want to share that with everyone else. 

Pinterest is such a great place to gather inspiration and ideas for events like this. Folks are so willing to share their knowledge and secret tips. I can't wait to start building with dad in the next week or two before everything starts up. And yes, of course, I will be sharing everything with you guys! Stay tuned.

Hello friends, 

I'm here today with another shameless plug to promote my Etsy Shop! I've made a few really special crowns that are now available in the shop for purchase immediately. All of these crowns are one size fits most. This collection is full of big, lush crowns just bursting with color! I wanted to make this year's crop extra bright and really big. I love the look of a huge crown, with lots of color, varied flowers.

Hello friends!!! 

Today, I'm here doing a little shameless self-promotion! My shop on Etsy is such a big part of my life lately, and is growing bigger every day. I'm starting to realize that this is were my passions lie! It's becoming something that I'm very proud of, and really have come to love working on. This is just a small peek at what I've got going on right now. These are the necklaces that I've created most recently, and are really special. I've been collecting these stones all year, and finally started making something out of them. The prices are all reasonable, and most are under $20. 

I've also been expanding into shirts, and vintage jewelry from my own collection. I'm running out of room, so these beauties need new homes! The poison ring is probably my favorite.
